01 - 4 slices sourdough bread
02 - 4 oz goat cheese, softened
→ Chicken
03 - 1 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded
→ Hot Honey
04 - 2 tbsp honey
05 - 0.5 to 1 tsp red chili flakes
→ Additional
06 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
07 - Salt and black pepper to taste
# How To Make It:
01 - Combine honey and red chili flakes in a small bowl, mixing thoroughly. Set aside.
02 - Lay out all sourdough slices and spread softened goat cheese evenly on one side of each piece.
03 - Distribute shredded chicken evenly over two cheese-coated bread slices. Drizzle each with hot honey mixture, reserving some for finishing. Season lightly with salt and black pepper.
04 - Top each filled slice with remaining bread, placing cheese-side down to form sandwiches.
05 - Spread softened butter evenly on the outside surface of each sandwich.
06 - Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat. Place sandwiches in pan and cook 3 to 4 minutes per side, applying gentle pressure with a spatula, until bread achieves golden color and cheese melts completely.
07 - Remove sandwiches from heat, slice diagonally in half, and drizzle with additional hot honey if desired. Serve immediately.
